Former Heavyweight Champ Tommy Morrison has died

morrison

Former Heavyweight Boxing champion Tommy Morrison died last night at the age of 44 following prolonged illness. 8CN sends condolences to the family and friends of “The Duke” as he will be missed by not only the Boxing community but all who he came in contact with.

Remembered for forging a career record of 48-3-1, beating George Foreman to claim the WBO title in 1993, possessing one of the nastiest left hooks in the history of Boxing, and starring opposite Sylvester Stallone in Rocky 5, Tommy endeared himself to a loyal fan base that has remained strong over the years.

R.I.P. Champ. You will always be remembered…….
