Rock/Metal legend Lita Ford sat down with 8CN and discussed her new record "Living Like a Runaway." This is her first new music since 2003, and I have to say, this is one hell of a record. Ford collaborated with big names such as Motley Crew' Nikki Sixx, guitar master Doug Aldrich, and the great lyricist Michael Dan Ehmig.
Lita talks about how Pink Floyd's "Dark Side Of The Moon" inspired her to write this new record. She talks about some of the great tracks on "Living Like a Runaway" such as "Mother" a song extremely sensitive to her, and a song that will make a grown man cry. She also talks about another track titled, "Devil in my head" a song about the battle between good and evil, and temptations.
Lita also talks about working with Motley Crew's Nikki Sixx. The song " A Song To Slit Your Wrists By" is one of the crunchiest songs on the record, with the most attitude. No surprise by that when you mix Lita Ford with a Nikki Sixx.
Lastly, Lita talks about how she and Ozzy Osbourne came to write "Close Your Eyes Forever" one of the greatest rock duets of all time.
